Obituary of Mary DeNoble Hockers - May 26, 1966

Mrs. Mary Hockers, 75, 119 S. Wisconsin St. DePere, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital following a short illness.  She was born December 21, 1889 in Ashwubenon and lived in this area all her life.  She was a member of the DePere Catholic Women's Club, De Pere Golden Age Club, and St Francis Altar Society.  Survivors include one brother, Henry Hermes, Ashwaubenon, six step-sisters, Mrs William Bos, Mrs Sidney Siefert, Mrs Kenny Carufel, Mrs. George Guerts, Mrs. Harold Rukamp, all of DePere, and Mrs Alfred Haese, Greenleaf; one step son, Earl Hockers, DePere, nieces and nephews.  Her first husband, Albert DeNoble, preceded her in death March 28, 1961, and her second husband, Mr. Louis Hockers, died October 26, 1959.  At Cotter Funeral Home, DePere, after 2 pm this afternoon, Catholic women's Club rosary at 7 p.m. tonight also parish and Altar Rosary Society rosary at 8 pm tonight.  Solemn High Mass at 9:30 Friday morning at St. Francis Church, DePere. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
