Peter J Bins, 84, 301 Newhall St, died at a local hospital Wednesday following an illness of three weeks.

He was born in Humboldt and on April 18, 1894 married the former Josephine Vanderplas, also of Humboldt.  Sixty years ago he operated Peter Bins dray business, starting with one horse.  In 1923 he bought a truck and he and a son operated the Bins Transfer business until his retirement in 1944.  The line is now known as Schneider Transfer.  The Bins' celebrated their golden wedding anniversary April 18, 1944.  Mr. Bins was a member of SS Peter and Paul Benevolent Society and the Holy Name Society. 

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Fred of Racine and Harry of Green Bay, two daughters, Mrs. Adam Durben of Racine and Helen, at home; nine grand children, 14 great-grand children, and a sister, Mrs. Sophie Nooyen of Humboldt.  A son, Elmer, died in 1942....Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery.
