News and Notes.... We
have the logging memorial dedication. It will be 2 horses pulling
a sleigh of logs and is approx 26' X 7'. The school bell is in place
as well as a walking trail so it looks very different from the current
picture (below - will be updated soon).
June 19 memorial dedication of a park bench to Paul Elbe (he dismantled
to log home and rebuilt it where it stands) from the Paul Elbe donation,
July 3 logging memorial to honor our forefathers, and July 10 memorial
dedication of a park bench from the Edward Palmer donation. In
August we will be presenting "railroads" in Mountain, the past. We
have an exciting summer to look forward to....
