There are several of us with Marek roots in both Oconto and Manitowoc that are trying to trace the Marek line back to Bohemia.  Our earliest known ancestor so far is Joseph Marek.  From DNA matches we appear to be related to Mareks from  Veřovice, Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Austria-Hungarian Empire.There is a timeline below, followed by his descendants with wife Mary.
