The backbone of
this Project are the County web sites.
A. County Web sites requirements
1. Each county Web site must prominently
display one of the approved USGenWeb and
FLGenWeb logos on the first page of their
web site along with a link
to FLGenWeb.
2. Each county Web site must prominently
display the USGenWeb logo on the first page
of their web site along with a link to
USGenWeb.
3. Each county Web page must have a link to
the USGenWeb FLGenWeb home page.
4. Each county Web site must have the
contact information for the County
Coordinator on the home page.
5. Each county Web site must provide a
place for Queries & Lookups (This can be a
Message Board or Group)
6. Each County web site should have a link
to the USGenWeb Florida Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/fl/flfiles.htm
B. Web Site Recommendations
1. A link to the USGenWeb Archives Florida

2. A link to WorldGenWeb is suggested:

3. It is recommended that County sites have
a search engine, but is not required.
C. Web Site Maintenance
1. All URLs on the County web sites should
be verified on a regular basis and outdated
links removed or replaced.
2. It is helpful to include a "Last
Modified" date on at least the County home
page.
