DEED - RAINS, Richard - Indenture made the 26th day of January, 1765, between Richard Rains and Gray Briggs of Dinwiddie County, for 105 pounds, conveying 307 acres, and being the same land purchased of Joseph Peebles, on condition that if the 105 pounds be repaid by December 25, 1766, conveyance to be void. Witness was George Clayton.
