Will of John Hix of Lawnes Creek Parish, dated the 12th day of March, 1721,
and proved on November 15, 1732.
Son, Thomas Hicks. Grandson, William Hicks, son of William Hicks. To son, Joseph
Hicks, dwelling plantation after his mothers decease and all land belonging to
him, if he dies without heirs to return to my daughter, Cristiana. Wife, Iso
Denias Christian Hicks. Wife, Iso Denias Christian Hicks, named as executrix.
Witnesses were William Rose, James Massingalls and Thomas Burgiss. Will was
presented in Court on the 15th day of November, 1732, by Isodenias Christian
Hicks, the executrix named therein.
