Will of Capt. John Hicks., dated July 3, 1825. (No docket).
In the name of God amen. I John Hicks in sound mind and memory do constitute and
make this my last will and testament in the manner and form following. Item. I
lend to my beloved wife Nancy Hicks all of my estate that I may die possessed of
both real and personal during her natural life and at her death I give and
bequeath the same to my son Charles Hicks to him and his heirs forever and
lastly I nominate and appoint my friend Reubin B. Hicks my executor to this my
last will and testament signed sealed and delivered the third day of July
eighteen hundred and twenty five in the presents of
Thomas Hicks
