Will of John Irby, dated April 30, 1746, and proved March 3, 1747.
To wife, Anne Irby, land I live on during her widowhood, and then to Son, James
Irby. All negroes to wife, Anne Irby, until Son, William Irby, arrives at the
age of 21, then they are to be equally divided between wife and all my children
by her. Appointed Wife, Anne Irby, guardian to children and to be executrix.
Witnesses were John Betty, Edmund Irby and Elizabeth Irby.
