HUGH HUDGINS*

Hugh Hudgins, was b. March 1764 in Kingston Parish, Gloucester Co. While a resident of Kingston Parish, he enlisted Jan. 1, 1780, and served at various times on short tours until Feb. 1782, amounting to 12 months in all, as a Pvt. under Holder Hudgins, Capt. Philip Tabb and Col. John Peyton. He was allowed a pension on his application executed Aug. 13, 1832, while a resident of Mathews Co. (Pension application of Hugh Hudgins S. 10884, Va., contains no further family information).
