Johnson-Smithson Cemetery

Located at Russell Corner. Rt. 660 is Old Cox Road. It enters Rt. 47 nearly directly across from Shiloh Methodist Church. The Johnson-Smithson Cemetery Cemetary, where these folks are buried, is directly across Rt. 47. It is obscured from view from Rt. 47 by a house trailer. Numerous others from this family are buried there, including Ida Johnson Toone and Richard Toone, and their infant son, Samuel. Ida was daughter of Samuel B. & Molly (Smithson) Johnson. Bartley Cox Smithson and Elizabeth and Samuel Grigg Johnson are also buried there.
