Statement concerning War of 1812 service of David, William & James Wroton

John Hamon this day personally appeared in Court & being duly sworn deposeth that David Wroton, William Wroton and James Wroton private soldiers in the united States service at Norfolk in this state, detached from the militia in the County of Russell under his command as a captain and serving in the 6th Regiment of Virg’a militia commanded by Col H. E. Coleman died of sickness in said service at Norfolk, the said David the 7th of December 1814, the said William the 12th of November 1814 and the said James the 5th of December 1814.
