Ferrell - Horton Cemetery

Located on county road 633. Take Rt. 460 West from Richlands to Claypool Hill and Cedar Bluff and then South on 67 to Raven/Swords Creek, then left on county road 635 and right on county road 633. Cemetery is located on private property on the right at the top of the hill.

Note: After researching this part of my family I have found that James' birth date is 1887, not 1883. Maurices' birth date is 1895, not 1897. According to relatives I talked to in the area, Duke Horton, husband of Mary Victoria is buried in the cemetary as well as his son but there are no headstones to indicate dates. One other error in the cemetary is the foot markers for Mary and Maurice. They are marked as father and mother and should be mother and son. Maybe this will help whomever is looking for either of these families. If anyone ever comes up with Duke Horton and son dates, please email me. Rachel Alice Ferrell Szasz
