Joseph Smith Cemetery

Located on Rt. 780, which runs off Rt. 67 in Swords Creek, Va. Cemetery is located on the old Smith family farm. You can also get there from Honaker. From Honaker, turn right unto SR 637 and go to Hickory Junction. Turn right (staying on 637) at Valley View Church. Go 1.9 miles and turn left unto SR 780. Go .2 miles, turn left unto a gravel road and follow it to the end. The cemetery is on a wooded knoll to the right past a barn. The cemetery is in very poor condition. It is completely overgrown with trees, briars and poison ivy. It has many stones knocked over or broken. Many are also difficult ot read and some are missing. Info from the ones that were reachable and could be read is below.
