      THIS DEED made this 30th day of August 1883 by and between Samual Isaacs the 
husband of Nancy Isaacs, late FRALEY dec’d, Susanah Smith late Isaacs, Fielding A. 
Isaacs, Elizabeth Simpson late Isaacs, her husband George Simpson, John M. Isaacs, 
William Isaacs, Elisha Isaacs, Sarah Isaacs, Nancy J. Fletcher late Isaacs & her 
husband Sylvester and Martha Isaacs, heirs of Nancy Isaacs deceased of the first 
part and H.C. Duncan of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration 
of the sum of one dollar to use paid by the party of the second part the receipt 
of which is hereby acknowledged, we have bargained and sold and by there present 
do hereby convey to the party of the second part all of our right, title and 
interest in the real estate, personal property and choses in action belonging to 
us as heirs of Nancy Isaacs dec’d, late Nancy Fraley (the daughter of Jessee 
Fraley and Mary Fraley dec’d) unto the said H.C. Duncan & his heirs forever.

    I, John Osborn, a Justice for the County and State aforesaid do hereby 
certify that this day personally appeared before me in my said county – Samuel 
Isaacs, Susanah Smith, John M. Isaacs, William H. Isaacs, Elisha Isaacs, Sarah 
Isaacs, Sylvester Fletcher and Martha Isaacs whose names are signed to the 
writing hereto annexed bearing even date herewith and acknowledged the same.  
I do further certify that Nancy J. Fletcher the wife of Sylvester Fletcher, 
whose name is signed to the writing hereto annexed bearing even date herewith 
personally appeared before me in my said county and after being examined by me 
privily and apart from her husband and having the said writing fully read and 
explained to her, she, the said Nancy J. Fletcher acknowledged the said writing 
to be her act and deed and declared that she had willingly executed the same 
and does not wish to retract it.________ Given under my hand this 30” of 
August 1883.

written do hereby certify that this day appeared before me Fielding Isaacs and 
Elizabeth Simpson personally, whose names are signed to the writing hereto 
annexed bearing date the 30th day of August A.D. 1883 and acknowledged the same 
to be their own act and deed and that they do not wish to retract it.  Given 
under my hand this August 7” A.D. 1883.

   This Deed from the heirs of Nancy Isaacs late Nancy Fraley bearing date on the 
30” day of August 1883 was produced in the Clerk’s Office of Russell County Court 
on the 30” day of November 1883, and together with the certificate of acknowledgement 
made thereto admitted to record.
