Robert Brooke Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to all to whom the presents shall come greetings: Know ye that by virtue of a Land Office treasury warrant numbers eight thousand one hundred and seventy four issued the second day of February one thousand seven hundred and eighty two there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Abraham Fuller assignee of John Hargiss a certain tract or parcel of land containing forty acres by survey bearing date the seventh day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety lying and being in the County of Russell and bounded as followeth to wit, Beginning at two white oaks and a dogwood corner to Abraham Bevers and with his line north thirty two degrees east forty four poles to a dogwood synn? and cucumber on a steep hill side corner to said Bevers and with another of his lines north sixty four degrees east eight poles to three whits oaks in said Bever's line and corner to Henry Burk, thence leaving their lines north twenty six degrees west sixty four poles to a sugar tree and buckeye on a hill side, north sixty four degrees west fourteen poles to an ash and walnut, north thirty degrees west fifty six poles to two sugartrees on the side of a hollow, north eighty six degrees west forty two poles to a spanish oak by a drain, south twenty seven degrees east one hundred and seventy nine poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Abraham Fuller and his heirs forever. In witness whereof the said Robert Brooke Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the lesser seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond, on the six day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety six and of the Commonwealth the seventeenth.
