Thomas M. Randolph Esq. Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia: To all to whom these presents shall come, greetings, Know ye that in conformity with a survey made on the thirty first day of July 1816 by virtue of a Land Office treasury warrant number 14585 issued the 1st September 1782, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto George Fuller a certain tract or parcel of land containing forty three acres situate in the County of Russell on both sides of Cedar Creek and bounded as followeth to wit: Beginning at two large spruce pines on the end of a spur by said creek corner to Timothy Burgess and William Gilmore and with said Gilmore's lines, north twenty nine degrees west two hundred and thirty two poles down said creek and crossing it twice to a stake south fifty two degrees east one hundred and fifty poles crossing said creek to two red oaks between two sink holes corner to said Gilmore and on a line of said Fuller's and with said Fuller's line south thirty five degrees west thirty nine poles to three dogwoods near the bank of said creek, south thirty degrees east thirty eight poles to a dogwood white oak and spanish oak south six degrees east thirty seven poles to a hickory white oak and two maples on the bank of the creek south one degree 30' west sixty six poles up said creek and crossing it to said Burgess's line and with his lines and leaving said Fuller's north sixty degrees west nineteen poles to a double dogwood and thence north eleven degrees east fifty two poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land, with its appurtenances, to the said George Fuller and his heirs forever. In Witness whereof the said Thomas M. Randolph Esq. Governor of the Commonwealth hath hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the fourth day of January, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty one and of the Commonwealth the forty fifth.
