Henry Lee Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to all to whom the presents shall come greetings: Know ye that by virtue and in consideration of part of two Land Office treasury warrants numbers fourteen thousand three hundred and eighty four issued the twenty fourth day of September, and eight thousand one hundred and seventy four issued the second day of February one thousand seven hundred and eighty two there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Thomas Price, Junr. a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and sixty four acres by survey bearing date the twelfth day of June, one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine, lying and being in the County of Russell, on the waters of Cedar Creek a branch of Clinch River, and bounded as followeth to wit, Beginning at a gum and two white oaks corner to Thomas Price, Senr. four hundred acre survey, north sixty three degrees west sixty four poles to two chesnuts on a ridge, north thirty four degrees west eighty four poles to a chesnut and small walnut sapling on a high ridge, north ten degrees east eighty four poles to a chesnut in John Thompson's line, thence with his line north eighty seven degrees east seventy five poles to a chesnut oak and dogwood in the said Thompson's line, thence leaving the said Thompson's line south sixteen degrees east sixty eight poles to a poplar on a hill side, north eighty three degrees east eighty six poles to a small poplar in the line of Thomas Price, Senr. settlement tract, and with his line south twenty one degrees east seventy five poles to two white oaks corner to said Price and with another of his lines south thirty eight degrees west seventy four poles to three white oaks on the east side of a ridge corner to said Thomas Price, Senr. and with another of his lines south eighty two degrees west sixty three poles to two white oaks corner to said Price, north sixty four degrees west twelve poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Thomas Price, Junior and his heirs forever. In witness whereof the said Henry Lee Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the lesser seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond, on the fifteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety two and of the Commonwealth the seventeenth.
