Executed June 1854

Whereas I Daniel Price Sr. of the County of Russell and State of Virginia having made, and duly executed my last will and testament in writing bearing date the 9th day of July 1847, now I hereby declare this present writing to be as a codicil to my said will and direct the same to be annexed thereto and taken as a part thereof and do hereby give bequeath, to my son Oliver H. Price all my household and kitchen furniture and two cowes.

In witness whereof I the said Daniel Price Sr. have to this codicil set my hand and seal this 12th day of April 1854.

Signed sealed and acknowledged by Daniel Price Senr. in the presents and hearing of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses.

At Russell June Court, 1854 - This instrument of writing was exhibited in court as and for the last will and testament of Daniel Price deceased, and proven by the oaths of Charles D. Boyd and Christian Easterly the subscribing witnesses thereto and admitted to record. And on motion of Oliver H. Price who made oath and together with J. F. McElhaney & Wm. B. Aston his securities entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $150, conditioned according to law, administration is granted him on said decedents estate with his will annexed in due form.
