I James McCoy being in my right mind, do hereby make my last will. I will and bequeath Sarah Blair, $500 five dollars. I will and bequeath Martha McCoy, the home farm, or home place. Beginning on the top of Honey Ridge, and running a straight line to a big Ash on the Honey Branch and from there a straight line to the French line. I will and bequeath my son David McCoy, with Martha McCoy’s line, to the French line, and with the French line, to the corner, and with Mintron’s line to Wheeler’s line, and with Wheeler’s line back to the beginning, at Martha’s line on the Honey Ridge.
I will and bequeath Mary McCoy a portion of land, beginning at Martha’s line on the top of the Big Ridge and running up the ridge with the top of the ridge to the chestnut corner, and with my line to the French line to a corner on a poplar and Wahoo and with the French back to Martha’s line. I will and bequeath Annie, my wife, and Martha and Mary my daughters my mare and colt, and cow, and heifer, and household and kitchen furniture, and Martha, and Mary to have the growing crop.

At a County Court begun and held for Russell County at the courthouse thereof on the 8th day of January 1895.
The last Will and Testament of James McCoy was this day produced in court and proven by the oaths of Wilson Holbrook, and S. M. Holbrook, two of the subscribing witnesses hereto who testified that they witnessed said will at the request of the testator, and in his presence and in the presence of each other, and in the presence of James Holbrooks, and H. P. Phillips the other subscribing witnesses hereto: Whereupon said will was admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded.
