In the name of God amen. I Nancy Albert being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of life do make publish and declare this my last will and testament.

First, I devise that my body be decently buried and in a manner suited to my circumstances.

Second, I devise that my just debts be paid and as soon after my decease as possible.

Third, I do bequeath unto my beloved sister Nancy D. White, all money remaining after my burial expenses and all other debts are paid. I do also bequeath to my sister Nancy D. White all other property real and personal of which I shall die, seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, to have and to hold the same to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

Forth, I do nominate and appoint Glenn White my Administator & Executor. In Testimony whereof I have to this my last will and testament subscribed my name and set my seal this 20th day of November 1893.

Signed sealed declared and published by Mary Albert as & for her last will and Testament in our presence and who at her request have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

Whereas I Mary Albert of the County of Russell and State of Virginia have made my last will and testament in writing, bearing date the 20th of November 1893 now therefore I do this writing hereby declaring this to be a codicil to my last will. I do give to my neice Gertrude Steele for kindness and attention during my last sickness $20.00 per month from July 25 1893 until the time of my death. To my neice Josie Albert I do give and bequeath $15.00 per month from 1st day of February 1894 until the time of my death, for kindness and attention during my last sickness. To my neice Mary Albert I do give $10.00 in cash to be paid by my executor. The money in each instance to be paid by my executor to the parties named as soon as possible after my decease. To this instrument I have caused my name to be signed & my seal to be fixed this the 6th day of March 1894.

At a county Court begun and held for Russell County, at the courthouse thereof on Tuesday, the third day of April 1894. This the last will and testament of Mary Albert was this day produced in court and proven by the oath of C.W. Grant one of the subscribing witnesses thereto who testified that he witnessed said will and codicil at the request of the testator, and in her presence, and in the presence of Mary G. Steele the other subscribing witness thereto, and thereupon said will with codicil annexed was admittted to probate and ordered to be recorded.
