I Nancy J Alderson being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament. I give and bequeath to my son Geo, the dressing table in the hall up stairs, and two quilts. I give and bequeath to my son Charles C. the bedstead in north room up stairs, and the bookcase in the hall. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas M. Alderson, the willow chair that he gave to me, the wardrobe upstairs, and the divan upstairs, and two quilts. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary J. Davis, the plush rocking chair in the parlor and two quilts. I give and devise to my daughter Nannie J. Alderson, the sofa downstairs, all my money, real estate, and what what may be due me under the will of my husband T.C.M. Alderson dec'd. The real estate above mentioned is the house and lot where my son C.C. Alderson now lives, and which I bought from J.L. Davis. I give and bequeath to my son W. H. Alderson and daughter Nannie Alderson, jointly all of my remaining personal property of whatever kind or description not herein specially named. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal.

At a County Court begun and held for Russell County at the courthouse thereof on Tuesday the 8th day of October 1895. The last will and testament of Nancy J. Alderson dec d., was produced in court and proved by the oaths of V.B. Gilmer and E.A. Leonard Jr. who testified that they witnessed said will at the request of the Testator, and in her presence and in the presence of each other. Where upon said will was admitted to probater and ordered to be recorded.
