I Nicholas Honaker of the county of Russell in the state of Virginia do hereby make my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following that is to say,
1st That after my decease so much of my perishable property as may be necessary for the purpose of paying my funeral expenses and just debts be sold and the same discharged.
2nd I give to my beloved wife Anny Honaker during her natural life one half of the plantation whereon I now live together with all the household furniture kitchen furniture and live stock also all other property which belong to me except such part of the aforesaid property as I may otherwise dispose of.
3rd I give to my daughters Nancy Honaker and Polly Dickenson a horse beast each to be worth sixty dollars each to be delivered to them shortly after my decease.
4th I give to my son Samuel Honaker in addition to what I have already given him in horses cattle household furniture and other necessary articles all the balance on a certain tract of land whereon he now lives which I have already conveyed to him.
5th I give to my son John Honaker one half of the tract of land where I now live and at the decease of my wife Anny Honaker the whole of the said land is to belong to him his heirs and assigns forever. I further give my said son John Honaker two horses which he has now in possession. I further give my said son John at the decease of my said wife all my hogs and household furniture and farming utensils except such as may be otherwise disposed of by me.
6th I give to my grand child Matilda Honaker a horse saddle and bridle at least worth ninety-five dollars one good cow and calf a good feather bed and necessary furniture.
7th That after the death of my wife Anny Honaker all my live stock and other property which is not otherwise disposed of be equally divided between my sons Samuel Honaker and John Honaker and Daughters Nancy Honaker and Polly Dickenson, and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my sons Samuel Honaker and John Honaker executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 9th day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.

At a Court held for Russell County on the 6th day of May 1828. This instrument of wriiting was exhibited in court as and for the last will and testament of Nicholas Honaker deceased, and was proven by the oath of Robert Fugate and Samuel Aston the subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered to be recorded: and on the motion of Samuel Honaker and John Honaker executors therein named who made oath thereto and together with William Gibson and Solomon Litton their securities entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of one thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs, certificate is granted them for obtaining probate the said will in due form.
