Executed 06 Oct 1874

I Oliver Snead of the County of Russell and State of Virginia being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following.

1st My Will and desire is that as soon after my decease as possible my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter Mentioned.

2” I give and bequeath to my son Isaiah D. Snead all my estate that I may die possessed with. As may be coming to me from my Brother Nick Sneads estate, or from any other source whatever provided my said Son remains with me during my life time, and my wife.

3” I desire that my son Isaiah Snead pay to my idiot Daughter Fielitiah the sum of One hundred Dollars or to hold the sum in trust for her use and benefit.

4th As to the balance of my children I give nothing having given them heretofore all I intend to give them.

5th I and appoint my said Son Isaiah D. Snead Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking all other former wills by me heretofore made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 3” day of November A.D. 1873

Isaac Vermillion

At a Court held for Russell County on Wednesday the 6th day of Oct. 1874
The last will and testament of Oliver Snead was this day produced in Court and proved by the oath of J. T. McElhenney, one of the attesting witnesses thereto who also testified that Isaac Vermillion was the other subscribing withness thereto, and that the signatures of said Isaac Vermillion to the same as one of the attesting witnesses, is the geniuine signature of the said Isaac Vermillion and the same is admitted to record.
