In the mane of God, Amen. I Richard Bennet of the County of Russell and State of Virginia, after the payments of my debts and funeral expences. I give to my wife Elizabeth, all my estate both real & personal, for during the term of her real life, and after her decease, I bequeath unto her son Joseph Chasman all my lands with the rest of my property and in the consideration thereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 26th day of March in the year of our lord 1827.
