In the name of God Amen, I Stephen Boothe of the County of Russell and State of Virginia being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my Last Will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hand of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buryed in a decent christian buriel at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but that the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate whare with it has pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form

First I give and bequeath to Nancy my dearly and beloved wife one third of the land now living on at any place she chuses while she lives and at her death to fall to my son William and all my horses cattle hogs sheep and house hold furniture while she lives and then to fall unto the hands of my son William - Also I give to my well beloved son William whome I likewise constitute one third of this land now living on at any part he chuses - The remainder of the land to be divided equally Jerutia Elkins Anny Bishop and Rachel Dickson Jerutia Elkins the first choice Anny Bishop the second Also I give my beloved son Davids widow all the horses, cattle, hogs, sheep and house hold furniture belonging to him Also her seport while she feels a freedom to remain in the house she now lives in - my Stephen, James and Joseph have received their part - Also - Elisha Debusk I likewise constitute make and ardain the sole executor of this my last will and testament - And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testaments will Legaces bequests and executer by me in any wise before named willed and bequeathed retifing and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set me hand and seal this twenty sixt day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen
