Executed 01 Nov 1814

I William Large of the county of Russell and State of Virginia - do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say

First I give to my son Joseph Large fifty dollars in a horse which he has already received - 2dly I give to my daughter Lucy McCoy twelve dollars which she has already received 3dly I desire that all the rest of my estate be sould immediately after my Decease at twelve month credit and I give to my wife Nancy Large one sixt part of my extate forever 4thly I give to my sons Robert Large John Large and David Large and to my daughters Nancy Large Betsey Large and Anney Large all the rest of my estate not herein before particularly disposed of to them to be equally divided between them when David comes to be eighteen years of age and till then the money lent out on interest which I give to them their heirs executors administrators and assigns forever And I desire that my sons Robert and John Large be bound to some good person to learn some trade and my grandson Solomon Large likewise bound to some good trade and my wife to keep my son David and my daughter Anney Large - And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friends Ezekiel Burdine and John Holdbrooks executors of this my last Will and testament - in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 9th day of August in the year of our Lord 1814

This instrument of writing was exhibited in court as and for the last Will and Testament of William Large dec'd and proved by the oaths of Stephen Wheeler and Isaac Cooksey the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on motion of Ezekiel Burdine and John Hoolbrooks executors therein named who made oath thereto, and together with Stephen Gose and William McKinney their securities entered into and acknowledged their bond in the penalty of five hundred dollars conditioned as the law directs, certificate is granted them for obtaining probat of the said Will in due form
