In the name of God Amen. I William Lee of Russell County & state of Virginia being sick & low in body but of perfect & sound memory and calling to mind the mortality of my body, that it is appointed once for all men to die, first of all I recommend my soul into the hand of Almighty God who gave it and my body to be decently buried. And as to the worldly estate it has pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I give and bequeath in the manner following - after paying all my lawful debts I give and bequeath the things following - To my son Abner Lee which I had by my former wife I give & bequeath one dollar in addition to what I formerly gave him - To my daughter Franky Whiteley I give & bequeath unto her one cow worth five dollars in addition to what I formely gave her - I give & bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Hobbs a certain parcel of hogs none by the name of the oald blue sows gang - I give & bequeath to my grand-son William Hobbs one colt cald the Jackson colt - I give & bequeath to my loving wife Sarah Lee one negro girl named Dafney and one of my choyest hors beasts and one cow and one feather bed & furniture - I likewise lend to my said loving wife the plantation tools household furniture during her widowhood or my son Ephraim comes of age and I likewise lend to my said loving wife during her natural life the house and plantation where I now live.

I give and bequeath to my three sons Joseph Gold Lee, Alvey Lee Lee, Ephraim Lee the whole of my estate except what is before given to be equally divided between them, that is my lands a negro boy York, stock of all kinds of plantation tools household furniture & & when when my

son Ephraim comes of age & my will is that my said last mention three sons and my loving wife comfortable maintain my brother James Lee and my son George Lee during their life. I hereby confirm this my last will & testament, revoking all former wills or testaments made by me. In witness whereof I have have hereunto set my hand and seal this 2nd day of April in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & ten. I constitute and appoint my loving wife Sarah Lee & Joseph Gold Lee Executrix and executor of this my last will & testament.
