Executed 03 Oct 1837

In the name of God Amen.
I William Price of the county of Russell and State of Virginia do hereby make my last Will and Testament; hereby revoking all other wills, and testaments by me heretofore made.

1st I give and desire that my executors herein after named pay to my son William C. Price four hundred dollars, and no more of my estate either real or personal.

2d I give to my son John C. Price four hundred dollars
3d I give to my son Samuel C. Price four hundred dollars
4th I give to my son Richard B. Price four hundred dollars
5th I give to my daughter Priscilla Ann Price four hundred dollars
6th I give to my son Henry C. Price four hundred dollars
7th I give to my daughter Elizabeth Price four hundred dollars
8th I give to my son George L. Price four hundred dollars
I give to my son Samuel C. Price my slaves Simon and Matilda
I give to my son Richard B. Price my slaves Bob and Charlotte
I give to my daughter Priscilla Ann Price my slaves Len and Don
I give to my son Henry C. Price my slaves Milton and Lucy
I give to my daughter Elizabeth my slaves Mariah and Miner
I give to my son George T. Price my slaves Tom and Creed
I desire that my children aforesaid shall have possession of the aforesaid slaves as they severally come of age or marry.

I desire that exrs lay out the money heretofore disposed of to my children under 21 years of age in good land in the state of Missouri for them. And, after making my son John C. Price equal in slaves to the other six children each last mentioned. I give the redmainder of my slaves to my wife Elizabeth during her life and after her death I desire an equal distribution of my estate amongst my children except my son William C. Price. I further desire that each of my sons William C. Price excepted have one bed and furniture and my daughters two beds each

I desire that the balance of my estate constitute a fund to remove my family to the State of Missouri with & school, my younger children and settle and maintain my wife & her family after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses

I desire that my younger children who have not had any horses out of the above fund to receive two horses each worth about sixty six dollars with a bridle and saddle to each child

And lastly I appoint my sons John C. Price and Richard B. Price my executors of this my last Will and Testament.

Given under my hand and seal the 21st day of September 1837.
I also desire an appraisement of my estate

Virginia, to wit: At a court held for Russell County at the court house on Tuesday the 3rd day of October 1837.

This instrument of writing was exhibited in court as and for the last Will and Testament of William Price deceased and proven by the oath of John W. Price one of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of John C. Price and Richard B. Price executors therein named who made oath and together with William Gibson, William Price Senr., Dale Carter, John W. Price, George W. Johnson, John Price and William Browning Senr. their securities, entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $30,000 conditioned as the law directs, certificate is granted the said John C. Price and Richard B. Price for obtaining a probat of the said will in due form.
