Thomas (age 50) and Nancy (age 49) are listed on the 1850 census with the
following children:
William -- 17, John -- 15, Elijah -- 13, Nancy -- 12, Thomas -- 9,
Flemming -- 7, Elizabeth -- 2, Polly Fraley --20, Nancy -- 3, Rebecca -- 1
I am trying to find out if Thomas and Nancy had any older children who would
have been enumerated in their own households in 1850. From the 1850's to the
1870's, Thomas and Nancy and the above-listed children lived near the
William Keith, Sr. household and his children's households and the household
of David Ring (possibly a brother or half-brother of William Keith, Sr.'s
wife, Delilah). David Ring's wife was a Delila Austin born in Patrick Co.,
VA. William Keith, Jr.'s (son of William Keith, Sr. and Delilah) wife was
Milea Unknown born in Patrick Co., VA. Some researchers have reported that
Milea was an Austin but do not have any proof. I am wondering if Milea and
Delila were related (maybe sisters?) to each other and to the Thomas and
Nancy Austin family (maybe daughters?). Please let me know if you have any
information on any of these people.

in Grayson Co., VA. I believe that he moved to Russell Co. some time
between 1820 and 1830. I have located a John Farmer in Grayson in 1820 with
no family and between 26-45 years old. In 1830 there is a John Farmer in
Russell Co. between 30-40 years old married to a woman between 30-40 and
had 3 children. Son between 10-15, a daughter between 10-15 and 2 daughters
under 5. There was also a William Farmer living nearby without a family
between 30-40 years. I think he may have been John's brother. William
disappears after the 1830 census. The 1840 Russell Co. census shows John
with the following in his house hold: John (40-50 years old), wife(40-50),
son (20-30), sons (5-10), son (under 5), daughters (10-15) and daughter
(under 5). The older daughter from the 1830 census had either died or
married by this time. The last time John and his family are listed in
Russell Co. is the 1850 census. Although by 1850 his first wife has died
and he has remarried. The 1850 Russell Co. census lists the following in
his household.

Carolina. He married Anna Robinson, b. 22 Dec. 1789. When and where they
married is an unknown. The first child, Barbara was born 21 Dec. 1804.
Russell County, Va. tax digest for 1806 has a James Burk whose family
composition matches information recorded in a family Bible. Following
Barbara are Thomas, 16 Apr. 1807; William, 10 Aug. 1809; Annie, 30 Mar.
1812; Sheffie, 13 Nov. 1814; Betsy, 30 Aug. 1816; James, 17 Dec. 1818 (I
decend from this sibling) Thersa, 30 May 1821; Pollie, 2 Aug. 1823; Charles
W. 8 June 1828; Christina, 12 Oct. 1830 and John Calvin, 15 Feb. 1833.
Thomas may have married Peggy Tailor (Taylor) 18 June 1839 in Tazewell Co.
VA. William may have married Peggy Stobaugh 2 Sept. 1831 in Tazewell Co.
Va. James married 1st. Louisa McGuire 10 Feb. 1842 and 2ed Catherine R.
Griffith (Griffits) 29 Dec. 1847. One of four children born to James and
Louisa survived to adulthood. Nothing is known of the circumstances of his
loss of three children and wife. Charles W. may have married Nancy C. Adams
in Pike Co. Ky. And Christina married Elihu Joseph Hankins in Pike Co. KY.
Charles and Christina were married ca. 1850. Christina and Hankins are
found later in Tazewell Co. Va.
Family legend is that the family departed Russell Co. VA. ca. 1842 for
Missouri. I think some of the family made it but not all. Because of the
marriages of some of the siblings in Pike Co. Ky. I think that James the
elder and Anna probably never made Missouri but instead settled in KY.
I would like any information concerning this family, especially where James
and Anna may be buried and the circumstances surrounding their death. I am
also interested in learning who the parents of James and Anna are.

Crabtree Price was buried. He was born Nov. 13,1788 and died Sept.
21,1837. He married Elizabeth Cecil, I don't know the date. I know they
had several children but the only one that I know the name of was Samuel
C. Price. He moved to Texas and died there.
William Crabtree Price's father was Richard Price. I am also looking for
the place he is buried. Richard Price was born about 1750 and died March
9, 1803 in Russell Co., Va. He was married to Priscilla Crabtree. She was
born about 1766 and I don't know when she died. In the Crabtree's
genealogy it stated that Priscilla married John Richard Price.
William Crabtree Price had a brother named John Wesley Price. I know that
he is buried in a cemetary near Glade Spring, Va. Some of the above family
