She was born on May 7,1909 and died April 17, 1945 in Kingsport, Tn. She married Howard Lane
Sykes, born September 23, 1908 and died December 20, 1983, on December 29, 1927. Howard's parents were Brice Dolphus Sykes Born August 1, 1876 and died December 19, 1960 and Martha Jesse born November 27, 1873 and died April 30, 1951. Brice's father was Robert Major
Sykes. Howard and Margaret had three sons, Harry, Harvey, and Billy. Margarets parents were Doc Clark and Mary Musick. If anyone has information on this family, please let me know.

Russell Co.,VA in 1898. His birthdate is unknown but according to the license it states he was
33yrs. at the time of the marriage. That leads me to believe he may have been born around 1865
and he was from North Carolina. Parents were listed as unknown on marriage license. He married
a Martha Jane Hess,18yrs, daughter of Sylvester and Mary Hess. Martha was from Russell Co.,VA.
Marriage date May 30, 1898. Any information on this family and/or on John Hudson would greatly

who had a large farm in the Swords Creek area of Russell County. Mary and Duke are buried
somewhere on the farm as well as her first husband, FAJ Ferrell, and two of her sons, James
O'Keith Ferrell and Maurice Bennett Ferrell. Maurice had a second family in the Russell County
area before he died in 1955. Possibly there are some of his heirs in the area who would be
willing to correspond. Can't obtain death certificates without death dates. If anyone know
where this cemetery is listed or anything about the family in general, would love to hear from

Looking for info as to what happened to Old Samuel Hargis. His family (wife Esther Kinser Hargis and all the rest of his family) moved to Green Co in early 1840s(later to be Webster Co) MO. The story goes he left the wagon train to look for food and never returned. Later was heard from as to being back in Lee Co. Va living with another woman. Does anyone have later census with him listed? Does he show up on any cemetery list? He could have lived in an county around Lee and someone may have info and not know it.
