He was first married to Loutisha Griffith, then a Florence Robinson, both from Russell County

QRYTEXT: My ggrandmother was Mary "Polly" Elizabeth Rose Kiser. Married to James Abednego Kiser. She died around 1927 in Dewey VA, near Pound. Does anyone know where the cemetery is in which she is buried? She has one daughter still alive. The youngest, Ivis is 84 now. She said her mother had gall bladder surgery and died from complications. They lived by a river and James ran moonshine. Other children names were Cecil, Maynord, Lessie, Beatrice, Opal, Dellmas, Kermit and Emery. Polly had a sister named Rebecca and her parents were John and Charlotte Rose

QRYTEXT: I am seeking info on my GGGrandfather James Hunt[born about 1800] who I believe was married to a Priscilla Hunt [born about 1802] They had 2 daughters, Sirena [Serena] Hunt born abt 1836 and Rebecca [Nancy?]Hunt born abt 1839 some where in VA and I believe it may have been in Russell Co.

The family came to Lamar Co, TX about 1841 and in Sept 1844 my GGrandfather, James Basil Hunt was born. His father appears to have died abt 1846-49 and Priscilla Hunt appears to have married a John A. Parsons and was living in Hunt Co, TX in the 1850 Census. Priscilla Hunt parents may have been a Thomas Hunt Jr, born abt 1774 [son of a Pensioner]and Eliza [unkn]Hunt, born abt 1776.

This is my "brickWall" and any clues would be greatly appreicated

QRYTEXT: Musick genealogy sources list the ELIJAH MUSICK who married Nancy Combs as the son of David Musick and Annie McKinney. However, my research conflicts with that information. The Elijah Musick who married NANCY COMBS moved to Letcher County, KY. Nancy had died, and Elijah was married to an Elizabeth in 1850. The 1850 Letcher County, KY census listed Elijah as age 41 - born ca 1809. Elijah Musick, son of David and Annie, is listed as having been born ca 1780. Can anyone provide me with clues for resolving this conflict?

I also have another line of Musick ancestry and think it most likely connects with Elijah Musick who married Nancy Combs. JANE "JINCI" MUSICK married Silas Casebolt in Perry County, KY in 1836. Her son's marriage record listed his mother as having been born in Russell County, VA. Jane was born in the early 1800s. Who were the parents of Jane Musick?

Any information regarding either of these Musick ancestors/ancestresses will be greatly appreciated

Second Regiment KY Mounted Militia in the War of 1812. No further info is known about William. James married Nancy FERGUSON, granddaughter of Andrew FERGUSON of Montgomery Co. Va. and daughter of Kinder FERGUSON in Clark Co. IN. Kinder moved to Scott Co. IN.with his family. James and Nancy settled first in Henry Co., KY. They moved to Lexington, Scott co., IN abt 1822. In 1824 they were living in Ripley Co., IN and by 1848 were living in WI. There is also a Lawrence PRIEST who married Dortha FERGUSON, who is the aunt of Nancy FERGUSON. Relationship of Lawrence to James and Wm is unknown. Please contact if any of this sounds familiar. Have info to share
