I am searching for the parents and siblings of HENRY MARSH, sometimes
listed as MASH, MARRS. He was born abt. 1752 in Amelia Co., VA, enlisted
in the Rev. War at Surry Co., NC. He moved to Washington Co., VA.after
the revolution. He was found on the 1784-1785 Washington Co., Tax list.
He was in the 1790 Russell CO. VA.,Personal Property Tax Lists (upper
portion)with DAVID MARSH, HENRY married PHERABY HARVEY in 1816 in
Overton County , TN. He died at the age of 107, in 1859, at White
County, TN. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have information on the HOLLEYs from Russell County
or adjacent counties? Specifically, I am looking for information about
Luther
HOLLEY b. 15-FEB-1884 in St. Paul and his sibblings and parents. His
sibblings were Bob HOLLEY, William HOLLEY b. c1874, Hugh
HOLLEY b. c1888, and Kate HOLLEY. His parents were James
HOLLEY and Renda FRALEY (I think).
Any help would be appreciated. Census look-ups would be great!

Information about Charles and William Holliday that was in the 1797-1816
Russell Co. Tax List. Were they brothers. William came to Floyd Co. Ky
and was in 1820 census with 9 sons and 2 daughters. John, William
Dewitt,
and Samuel are the only ones we can place. All left Floyd in 1826 except
John and went to ????. Charles was a Methodist Circuit Rider and we know
a lot about him. I am looking for his journal. Any help greatly
appreciated.

I would like to find out more about Zachariah Skaggs. He acquired
a tract of land, lying on Indian Creek, by survey date 23 Feb 1792 in
Russell
Co. He purchased 147 acres on the waters of Middle fork of Indian Ck.
His
wife was Ann ???. The only known son was Jeremiah who married 1 Nov.
1788
in Montgomery Co. Va. to Hannah Lester. He was also an heir at law
of John Skaggs. This is about as far back as I can go with him.
Does anyone know who this John Skaggs is. I feel like Zachariah is
related to my Peter Skaggs who married Martha Catron in Montgomery Co.
Va.
