married Caty Reynolds, parentage unknown, in Patrick Co., Va 09-27-1804.
Shadrack's mother was "Granny" Alice Sizemore b. in 1750's in
Va., and she may have been part Indian and related to Golden Hawk
Sizemore.

Sarah WHITE was born about 1758 in VA. I believe it was Russell Co. She
married Daniel DAVIDSON about 1773 in VA. Probably Washington Co. since
their first child was born there. Daniel DAVIDSON was born about 1752 in
VA. Probably Russell Co. His father was Samuel DAVIDSON and mother
Margaret. They were also from VA. Daniel was in the Revolutionary War.
I am trying to find more information on the DAVIDSON line. I decend from
Daniel's son James Davidson born 1 Mar 1785 in Washington Co., VA. But
my big request is for information on who Sarah (if that is her name)
WHITE"S parents are. Her father could have been Hugh White, but I

My grandmother was Hessie Lee Ramey born May 11, 1911 in Dante, Va
Her father was Jessie Ramey(full blood Indian?) married to Virginia
Kaiser whoboth died in a flu epidemic when she was small.
Her siblings wer Ted Ramey, Myrtle Ramey, Margaret Ramey Daisey Ramey and
Little Ed Ramey.

Searching for JESSEE family descendants, particularly those of
John (b. 1750) and Frances "Frankey" Lea Jessee, who came from
NC to Russell Co., VA. They had 15 children; John, Archibald,
William, Lea, David, Boadicia, Mary, Frances, Sarah, James,
Elizabeth, Rebecca, George (my direct ancestor), Martin, and
Jane. Their descendants have spread all over the world. I
am attempting to create a database of Jessees that is complete
as possible. I am also interested in other Jessee/Jessie/Jesse

I am searching for information on the ancestors of
Josiah DAUGHERTY (b. 27 Mar 1777) and his wife Nancy EDWARDS
(b. 15 Jun 1783). They were said to be from Virginia and to
have been married in Lee County, VA in 1798. I have later
information on their living in Jefferson, McMinn, and
Polk counties in Tennessee from abt. 1820 to 1853.

James Sutherland's daughter, Nancy, married Jonathan Yates 1800
in Botetourt Co Va. He apparently moved as daughter Polly was
born c1801 in Russell Co Va. Would like more info on this family.
Are they related to the Sutherland (Southerland, etc) families
of Wythe, Patrick & Pittsylvania counties? Levi Sutherland's
dau Mary married in Patrick Co but Levi was from Surry Co NC.
Nelly Southerland married Lewis Seabolt in Wythe Co. Are they
related to the above Sutherlands? Any tidbits appreciated!

John BREEDING and wife Priscilla ? had a son, Spencer, b. 9 Sep 1759 in
(possibly) Augusta Co., VA., d. 24 Sep 1835 in Russell Co., VA. Spencer
married twice; first to Elizabeth FINNEY, d. 31 Mar 1822-Russell Co., VA.
They were the parents of 13 children. He married second-Hannah HICKS.
They were the parents of five children.
Would like any information on Spencer's parents (John & Priscilla) or
wife, Elizabeth FINNEY.

Thier son Morgan T. TURNER (born in Buchanan County, Virginia) married
Dicy Margaret Jane ROSE (born in Wise county, Virginia) in 1898. They
resided in Dickenson county and had eight children.

John Robert ARRINGTON (my great-grandfather), married Nellie SYKES. They
resided in Dickenson County Virginia. Robert had 3 borthers - Haskel,
William, Graden AND 5 SITERS; Ethel, Martha, Mae, Bonnie and America.
John and Nellie had 2 children: Luri (arrington), Rasnake and Smith
Arrington. Smith Arrington married Emma Duty and they had 4 children:
Bobby, Jackie, Betty (My mother), and Johnny. Smith was killed in the
Red Jacket Mine Explosion in 1938.

Swinfield ROSE, my great-great grandfather married Elizabeth ROBINSON.
Date of marriage is unknown. He fought in the Civil War. I have found
him listed in the 51st. infantry and the 7th. Battalion for the
Confederate Cavalry. I also have information that states that he was a
POW in Wise county and took allegiance on 4/30/1864; and enlisted in the
Federal service on 1/1/1864. He was born 1/26/1840 and died
7/31/1922.
