Bluegrass" by George Gose, bought land in Russell County in 1802 and sold
it in 1810.
I'm trying to link this John GOSE, with a John GOSE who lived
in Morgan County Kentucky beginning in 1810. John GOSE and his wife Caty
HENRY may have had children Elizabeth Gose, James Gose, Rebecca Gose,
Susan Gose, and Henry Gose while they were living in Russell County, and I
am most interested in determining whether this is true. The family name
has also been spelled GHOST or GOST. (If anyone is interested in John GOSE after he went to KY, I've now gathered a fair amount of information.)

The Johnsons soon after Rice and Della married migrated to Virginia, my
grandfather with them. A lot of them lived in Dante. I believe that
Lafayette and his wife Ellen Haney lived in Clintwood. They are buried in
Temple Hill Cemetary at Castlewood, VA. I lived at my grandfathers until
after the war when my dad came home and we moved to Bristol, TN.
