Ella Mae Hemphill Burton Buried

At Rest Haven Cemetery

      Mrs. Ella Mae Burton, 85, of 
Indianapolis and sister of Miss 
Minnie Hemphill of Edinburgh, died 
Monday, Nov. 9, at her home after 
a several years illness and burial 
was at Rest Haven Cemetery in 
Edinburgh Thursday after services 
in Indianapolis.
      Mrs. Burton was born in 
Edinburgh in January of 1896 the 
daughter of Joseph and Florence 
Mathis Hemphill and married Lee 
Burton who preceded in death.  
The couple had lived in Indian-
apolis.
      Surviving are a daughter, 
Marjorie Carson of Winchester; one 
brother, Walter Hemphill of Indian-
apolis; four grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.
