Harold L. Coy, 57, died December 1, 1990.
He was born in Bartholomew County July 19, 1933. His
father is Norman Coy. His mother was Dorothy (Wycoff)
Coy. He married Ethel Blanford in 1952. She died in 1970.
Survivors include three sons, Douglas, Roger, and Harold
Jr. ; and a daughter, Mary Alice Coy; brother, Gene Coy;
two sisters, Norma Burton and Connie Mayer; and seven
grandchildren. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean
conflict. He belonged to the American Legion post in
Edinburgh.

EDINBURGH — Harold L. Coy, 57, of Edinburgh,
died at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday at Bartholomew County
Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a
member of Edinburgh American Legion and a life-
long resident of Edinburgh.
Funeral will be conducted by the Rev. George
Eagler at 2 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral
Home, where calling will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Military graveside service by members of Edinburgh
American Legion and burial will be at Rest Haven
Cemetery.
Born July 19, 1933, in Bartholomew County,
Coy was the son of Norman Coy of Edinburgh and
the late Dorothy Wycoff Coy. He married Ethel
Blanford in 1952. She died in 1970.
Surviving are sons, Douglas Coy of Taylorsville,
Roger Coy of Lexington and Harold Coy Jr. of Michi-
gan City; a daughter, Mary Alice Coy of Franklin; a
brother, Gene Coy of Edinburgh; sisters, Norma Burton
of Florida and Connie Mayer of Edinburgh; seven
grandchildren; four nieces; and two nephews.
