Deloris "June" Goodwin
Deloris "June" (Cline) Goodwin, 71,
died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at Johnson
Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of
Prince’s Lakes.
She was born June 19, 1931, in Johnson
County. Her parents were Samuel and Flo
(Pryor) Cline. She married Roy Leland Goodwin
on July 29, 1949, in Columbus. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Diana
Lyon of Columbus and Deborah Sanders of
Fort Wayne; three sons, Daniel Goodwin of
Trafalgar, Donald Goodwin of Brownstown and
Robert Schiffer of Columbus; three sisters,
Myrtle Hubbard of Green County, Geraldine
Rafferty of Nashville and Faye Allison of
Brown County; a brother, Roger Cline of
Brown County; 12 grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by an infant son, Dayton Goodwin; four
sisters, Eva Rafferty, Isabell Ashcroft, Iona
Nally and Anna Mae Zimmerman; and four brothers,
Kenneth Cline, Marvin Cline, Denizel Cline
and Russel Cline.
She was a graduate of Nashville High
School. She received a nursing degree in 1971
at Ivy Tech State College.
She was a health-care professional for
31 years.
She attended Nineveh Baptist Church.
The Rev. Charles Miller will conduct a
service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Vandivier-Tudor
Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call
from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
in White River Township.
