Lottie R. Johnson Dies Thursday Night
      Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. 
Gary Ruddell at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Eskew 
Funeral Home for Lottie R. Johnson, 77, wife 
of Allen Johnson, who died Thursday evening 
at Faith Nursing Home after a long illness.
      Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery with 
Max Brand, Tommy Brand, Ray Drake, David 
England, Mike Branham and Larry Couch 
serving as pallbearers.
      Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 8, 1901, in 
Columbus the daughter of Thomas and Nora 
McCord Brand.  On April 15, 1922, she was 
married to Allen Johnson of route 1, Edinburgh. 
 She was a member of the Church of Christ.
      Other survivors include two daughters, 
Nancy Branham of Columbus and Henrietta 
England of Edinburgh route 1; a brother, 
Ernest Brand of Miami, Fla., and four grand-
children and four great-grandchildren.
      She was preceded in death by three 
brothers, Keller, Paul and Ray Brand.
