Leah May Long, 67, of 609
Holland, died Tuesday night at
her home. A former employee
of Amos Molded Plastics here,
she had been in ill health but
her death was unexpected.
Funeral services were
conducted by the Rev. Charles
Williams at 1 p.m. Saturday
at Amity Baptist Church and
burial was at Rest Haven
Cemetery. Calling hours were
held at the Eskew Funeral Home.
Mrs. Long was born at Indian-
apolis Feb. 10, 1914, the daughter
of George and Frances Garwood
Cheshire of Edinburgh. She
was married June 22, 1935, to
Maurice G. Long who survives.
She was a member of Edinburgh
Senior Citizens and Amity Baptist
Church.
Surviving with her parents
and husband are two daughters,
Kay Holland of Edinburgh and
Janice Hurley of National City,
Calif.; a brother, Robert Cheshire
of San Diego, Calif., seven grand-
children and two great-grandchildren.
