Alice Mae Williams
Alice Mae Williams, 71, died Friday,
Nov. 21, 2003, at Four Seasons Health
Care Center in Columbus. She was a
resident of Edinburgh in Shelby County.
She was born April 8, 1932, in
Bartholomew County. Her parents were
Milo Coy and Norma E. (Stillabower)
Coy. She married Darrell D. Williams on
Nov. 2, 1952. He preceded her in death
Jan. 28, 2001. Survivors include a daughter,
Daria Cook of Edinburgh; two sons,
Dwane Williams and Eric A. Williams,
both of Edinburgh; a brother, Milo Coy
Jr. of Summerfield, Fla.; and three grand-
children.
She was a 1951 graduate of Edinburgh
High School.
She was a farmer in Shelby County.
She was a member of Edinburgh United
Methodist Church.
The Rev. Edward Boone will conduct a
service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Eskew-Eaton
Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St. in
Edinburgh. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be
at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Alice Mae Williams, 71, of Edinburgh,
died Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at Four Seasons

Born April 9, 1932, in Bartholomew
County, she was the daughter of Milo and
Norma E. (Stilabower) Coy. She married
Darrell D. Williams on Nov. 2, 1952, and
he preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 2001.
Survivors include one daughter, Daria
(husband, Mike) Cook of Edinburgh; two
sons, Dwane (wife, Cindy) Williams and
Eric A. Williams, all of Edinburgh; one
brother, Milo Coy Jr. of Summerfield, Fla.;
and three grandchildren, Adrian Cook,
Courtney Cook and Margo Williams, all
of Edinburgh.
Mrs. Williams was a Shelby County
farmer.
She graduated in 1951 from Edinburgh
High School.
Mrs. Williams was a member of
Edinburgh United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m.
Sunday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 3
02 E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Monday at the funeral home, with the
Rev. Edward Boone officiating.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery
in Edinburgh.
