Richland Man Rites Saturday

      Aubrey D. Coy, 69, Richland Township
farmer, died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Rush
Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted
Saturday, after having been in failing health
since May.
      Mr. Coy moved to his present home a
mile south of Richland, on R. R. 1, Rushville,
24 years ago from the old Camp Atterbury
area in Bartholomew County.
      He was born in Shelby County on July 9,
1896, the son of Samuel W. And Emma E.
Barnhill Coy, and was married on February
7, 1917, to Mildred Miller, who survives.
      Mr. Coy was a member of the New Salem
Methodist Church, the New Salem Lions Club
and the Edinburg I.O.O.F. Lodge.
      Surviving with the widow are three sons,
Delorse Coy of Akron, O., Wayne Coy of
Columbus and Donald Coy of Rushville; one
daughter, Mrs. Lowell (Louise) Angle, R. R.
1, Rushville; one brother, Dallas F. Coy of
Whiteland; one sister, Mrs. Reba Boll near
Columbus, and eight grandchildren.
      One brother and one sister preceded
him in death.
      The Rev. Howard Jaquess will conduct
services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Moster and
Sons Mortuary, where friends may call after
4 p.m. Friday, with burial in Rest Haven
Cemetery at Edinburg.

Aubrey D. Coy Dies at Rushville
      Aubrey D. Coy, 69, Rt. 1, Rushville, died
at Rush Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon
at 1:45 P.M.  He had been ill several months.
      Funeral services Saturday at 1:30 P.M.
at the Moster and Sons Mortuary, Rushville,
will be in charge of the Reverend Howard
Jaquess.  Burial will be at Edinburg Rest Haven
Cemetery.
      Friends may call at the Mortuary after
4:00 P.M. Friday.
      A farmer, Mr. Coy lived in Rush County
the past 24 years.  Before that he lived in the
Atterbury area.
      Mr. Coy was born in Shelby County on
July 9, 1896.  His parents were Samuel and
Emma Barnhill Coy.
      On February 7, 1917 he married Mildred
Miller who survives.
      Surviving children are Delorse Coy,
Akron, Ohio; Wayne Coy, Columbus; Donald Coy,
Rushville; and Mrs. Lowell Angle, Rt. 1,
Rushville.  Also surviving are eight grand-
children; a brother, Dallas F. Coy of Whiteland;
and a sister Reba Boll of near Columbus.
A brother and sister precede in death.
      Mr. Coy was a member of the Methodist
Church and Lions Club of New Salem and
of the Edinburg I. O. O. F. Lodge.

Aubrey Coy Dies at Rush Co. Hospital
      Aubrey D. Coy, 69, a former resident of
the area which is now Camp Atterbury, died
at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Rush county
Memorial hospital at Rushville.  He had been
ill since May.
      Mr. Coy, a farmer, moved to Rushville
24 years ago.  He was a native of Shelby
county and belonged to the Methodist church
and Lions club at New Salem and the Odd
Fellows lodge at Edinburg.
      He and his wife, the former Mildred
Miller, were married Feb. 7, 1917.
      Surviving with the wife are three sons,
Wayne Coy of Route 3, who is head of the
vocational agriculture department at Columbus
high school, Delorse Coy of Akron, Ohio,
and Donald Coy of Rushville; a daughter,
Mrs. Lowell Angle of near Rushville; a brother,
Dallas F. Coy of Whiteland; a sister, Mrs.
Reba Boll of Bartholomew County; and
eight grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be conducted
at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Moster mortuary
at Rushville, and burial will be at Rest
Haven cemetery at Edinburg.

RITES CONDUCTED

Rushville — Funeral services for Aubrey D. Coy, of Rush­ville, brother of Dallas Coy, of White­land, were conducted Saturday after­noon in the Moster Funeral Home at Rushville.

Burial took place in Rest Haven cemetery at Edinburg.

Mr. Coy died Wednesday after­noon at 1:45 o’clock in the Rush County Memorial Hospital at Rush­ville after an illness since May.

Was A Farmer

He was a farmer near Rushville and was still active in his oc­cupation.

The widow, Mrs. Mildred Miller Coy; three sons and a daughter, Deloris Coy, of Akron, Ohio; Wayne Coy, of Columbus, Ind.; Donald Coy and Mrs. Louise Angle of Rushville; eight grand­children and a sister, Mrs. Reba Boll, of Columbus, survive with the brother.
