HARROD, Eugene Z.

Eugene Z. Harrod

      Word has been received that Eugene Z. 
Harrod, 72, of Indianapolis, died May 17 at 
Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
      He was a native of Bartholomew County 
and was the brother of Dale K. Harrod of 
Edinburgh.
      Funeral service was conducted May 19 
at the G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 5141 Madi-
son, Indianapolis.  Burial was at Rest Haven 
Cemetery.
      Harrod was born Aug. 1, 1910, the son 
of Rutherford B. and Hattie Ziegner Harrod.  
He moved to Indianapolis 40 years ago and was 
employed 35 years as an electrician at the 
Diamond Chain Co., retiring in 1976.  He was 
a member of Edinburgh Masonic Lodge.  His wife, 
the former Lucille Hutchison, also survives.
