NOTES: Franjo VELTRUSKI came to the U.S. through the port of New York in 1907 from Daruvar, Hungary (Yugoslavia/Croatia)but of Czech descent. His son, Josip F. VELTRUSKY (Joseph F. WELTRUSKI), joined him in 1913 in E. St. Louis, Illinois. Franjo VELTRUSKI returned to Hungary after 1913 and died during WWI. However, his son, Joseph, came to Schuyler and worked for a family for a year. He met Paulina KOUDELKA and they were married in Clarkson in 1916. Joseph and Paulina lived in Colfax Co. before moving to Newman Grove and St. Edward, Nebraska. They had 6 children.
