Looking for descendants of THEOPHILUS KETCHAM 1683-1729, innkeeper in Ringoes, who married ELIZABETH REEDER d/o Jacob REEDER & Martha Furman. Trying to connect this Theophilus to my PHILLIP KETCHEM, also an innkeeper,  b. @1760 place unk. and died @1815 in Greene Co., PA. Before migrating to Washington Co., PA (became Greene Co. in 1790s) & marrying Mary MYERS d/o George MYERS, Phillip KETCHEM, along with a JACOB KETCHEM Jr., is found in Colerain and Bethel Twps. in Bedford Co. One descendant of this Jacob Ketchem believes both were the sons of a Jacob Ketchem Sr.  who died in Bedford Co. in 1780s & who was son of THEOPHILUS KETCHAM.  

My Phillip signed bond for Elizabeth WARFORD in the estate of her late husband HENRY WARFORD in 1785 (Bedford Co.). Later, Elizabeth WARFORD witnessed the will of Phillip's father-in-law George MYERS of Washington Co., PA, in 1795. I believe the Warfords also were of Hunterdon Co.

KETCHEM shows up as CATCHEM, CATHAM, KETCHAM, KETCHEM, KITCHEM, etc. in tax records and census. There is an original land warrant in Bedford Co. for a DAVID KETCH*M.
