RETIRED MAIL MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL
Yvo L. Foley, a resident all his life in
Denison, died at a local hospital early
today after an illness of six years.
Mr.
Foley entered the mail service June 1,
1898 and retired September 30,
1931 because of a physical disability.
Prior to that he had been
connected with the Katy railroad, the city
water works and Denison
Electric company. He was a member of St.
Patrick church and Eagles
lodge.
Born in Denison May 22, 1875 as a son of
Mr. and Mrs. D. Foley, he was reared and
educated here.
Funeral
services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m.
at St. Patrick Church, Rev.
B.J. Deeney officiating. Interment
will be at Calvary Cemetery,
Short-Murray directing.
Surviving are a brother, Thomas T. Foley
of Denison and a sister, Mrs. H.G. Mellon
of Springfield, Missouri.
He made his home at 101 West Sears.
