Thursday, December 26, 2019, Arthur Gale Allison passed away at the age
of 70, surrounded by loved ones. Arthur was born on September 18, 1949
in Amarillo, Texas, son of Arthur and Dorothy Maloney Allison and was
the oldest of their 3 children.
Arthur was married 42 years to Mique Jo Hennard, until her passing in 2018. Arthur was a Navy veteran and law enforcement retiree. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman in his earlier days and enjoyed doing extensive research on his ancestors. He was also very interested in American history, especially the Civil War. Arthur was a husband, father and grandfather who loved God and his family above all else. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Allison; and wife. He is survived by his children, Rebecca Allison Wilson and husband, Chad, of Van Alstyne, Texas; and Aaron Mechell and wife, Shannon, of Arlington, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Bryleigh Duncan, Jackson Duncan, Cole Mechell and wife, Jennifer; Cainan Mechell, Cade Mechell and Cameron Mechell. Arthur chose not to have a funeral and was cremated and joined together with his late wife, Mique Jo.
