his papers but was from Whitesboro (It is almost right on the county line)
I include anyone who has a Grayson County entry anywhere on their military records.
He lived in Rural Whitesboro.

He was buried in Gainesville, in Fairview Cemetery.


Both counties claimed him - he worked in
Grayson County and lived close to Whitesboro,
which is in Grayson Couty.

The county person who collected the enlistment cards must have been keeping
tabs on who had died during the war and wrote Deceased on his.


Tombstone Application shows he was returned to the US in 1948
