  The CAP part of his service stood for Combined Action Platoon. They were paired with South Vietnamese forces and lived in the rural villages. His group were based out of the Thừa Thiên province.
He served 1966-1968
His unit used many different ways to traverse the area.
From Tanks to various Amphibious vehicles and small boats;
The third served primarily on ground combat.

He was born in Florida and his family lived there, however
his military records list him as being from Denison, Texas. He
is listed in the official list of the dead for the Vietnam War, Texas losses. 
He was sent to Florida to be buried there.
