San Pedro, California. He was single without dependents, a mechanic and repairman for airplanes and he built airplanes.
his first enlistment was to go to the Panama Canal area.
Department. They needed him elsewhere.
He was in the 99th Bombardment Group, 346 Squadron

He was killed over Tunisia
BODY SENT TO KY FROM TUNISIA 1948
View the cemetery in Tunisia he was buried in first. Because the bodies were not found until later, he is buried with another man from the same aircraft. They didnt' have DNA to help sort them out.
Hospital report just says he was KIA.
They were in the "African Area" It was Aug 1943.
